“Marc Razo’s Shred For Your Life guitar battle hit the stage for the 14th year last night to a jam-packed crowd at Brooklyn Bazaar. Twelve professional shredder’s went head to head over the course of three rounds, some dressed in drag, one as a nun, and one as a rocker who wore ass-less chaps. Randy the Macho Man Savage was present while others rocked their normal shred gear.”

I had the pleasure of shooting the enigmatic Beach Fossils backstage at a recent concert at NYC’s Terminal 5 for a new interview in Monster Children Magazine, by my long time friend and collaborator, Anthony Pappalardo. The interview is up now and you can read it here.
Excited to share this cover for “Theory of Movement”, an upcoming album from new label Duke’s Distribution, and producers Grant and Dan Piu. The cover features an outtake photo of Takahiro Morita captured while shooting for my zine, Sakura. You can read some press on the new album and listen to some clips off of it here.
Just made major updates to my website including photos from my zine SAKURA with Takahiro Morita (online for the first time!), my shoot with the legend, Mark Gonzales, and Vans x Our Legacy with Youth of Today for Paper Magazine, and lots more! Please check it out: colegiordano.com
Growing up, skating and punk were synonymous. Last weekend in London, Vans debuted a new capsule collection with Swedish brand OUR LEGACY, inspired by 90s hardcore. Celebrating the release, Youth Of Today performed an intimate show at an art gallery in London’s Soho. To work with icons from both of those worlds simultaneously was awesome. More photos and the full story are up now at Paper Magazine.

Thank you Vans and Jockum of Our Legacy for inviting me to be a part of it.
Brooklyn based “punk, noise rock, [and] art-damaged sludge metal” band Soaker released their debut 7″ on Wharfcat Records today. These guys are great friends of mine, so I was stoked when they came to me with this out-there idea for a promo photo, which we had way too much fun working on.
