Beach Fossils for Monster Children

I had the pleasure of shooting the enigmatic Beach Fossils backstage at a recent concert at NYC’s Terminal 5 for a new interview in Monster Children Magazine, by my long time friend and collaborator, Anthony Pappalardo. The interview is up now and you can read it here.

Soaker Promo for Wharfcat Records

Brooklyn based “punk, noise rock, [and] art-damaged sludge metal” band Soaker released their debut 7″ on Wharfcat Records today. These guys are great friends of mine, so I was stoked when they came to me with this out-there idea for a promo photo, which we had way too much fun working on.

You can read an amazingly sardonic interview with the band over at CLRVYNT, listen to their single from the record, Sendhi,  on AdHoc, AND you can order yourself a copy from Wharfcat’s website here.

Congrats dudes!

WEAVES for Bandcamp

Had a blast shooting the totally awesome Toronto based band, Weaves, for the amazing music streaming site Bandcamp a couple weeks back. The story is now live. Click here to see more photos and read the full interview.

Website Updates!

Just made a bunch of new additions to my website including some new skate photos, travel series, and some of my favorites  shots from Brooklyn’s Northside Festival with Against Me!, Sannhet, Cayetanna, Viet Cong, and more.

Please take a look: www.colegiordano.com!

Northside Festival, 2015

I had a ton of fun shooting 5 shows in 4 days, and a tech panel, for Brooklyn Magazine and Northside Festival this past weekend. It was the 7th annual occurrence of Northside Festival and I had the privilege of shooting bands Against Me! (making highschool, and current me, very excited), Viet Cong, Sannhet, Girl Band, Gun Outfit, Mitski, Fred Thomas, Cayetana, and more.

Click here to see their full photo recap. Extras to come.

Slothrust and Big Ups at Shea Stadium, Brooklyn

A couple of weeks ago I covered Slothrust‘s album release (on Ba Da Bing Records) at Brooklyn DIY venue, Shea Stadium, for Milk Made. The show was awesome, and Big Ups killed as well. Click here to read Milk Made’s interview with Slothrust front woman, Leah Welbaum, and see the photos they posted. Here are some leftovers from the show.

Southern Girls EP

This is the album art and lyrics sheet for the latest release from the band Southern Girls. Influenced by hardcore, punk and post-punk, as well as post-rock, the new 4 song EP, and perhaps final release ever from my band is now available for download here (for free!).
